Recording

Straytown don't have a large studio but we are able to record you live, either at gigs, your rehearsal venue or at selected locations which we have used in the past where we know we can get good results.  We multi-track record directly into a PC using a 16 track Phonic mixer interface at high quality and then do final over-dubbing and mixing in our small one room studio.

We get good results this way and produce a good quality sound for those on a budget.  Often the fact that the music was recorded live adds to the feel and spontaneity of the track.  Good example of this is Scapegoat Kelly's "Maniac" which was recorded live as was The Side Effects "Listen To Me".  You can hear those on the mix examples page.
